The move!

Well, the long awaited move has officially happened. We left Lansing MI at 5:23 AM Tuesday the 15th and arrived in Herndon VA at 5:30 PM with our big Budget truck. It was a great drive, beautiful scenery and no traffic. Upon opening up our apartment we didn't quite know what to expect. Come to find out, it was way better than we could have hoped for! Small, yes, but a nice and roomy set up helps a lot. It is a beautiful area with lots to do.
Moving the boxes up three flights of stairs in 90+ heat was the hardest part. We kept treaking and 6.5 hours later made every last box up the stairs! We were quite sore the next few days...
So far we have visited Friday Night Live, a live concert on Friday nights for the community. We listened to some Jamaican Music and ate chicken on a stick:-) We also took a nice trip to IKEA to check out new couches and storage supplies(our closet is a bit smaller and we have zero storage places). Today we tried out a great church called Reston Bible Church. It felt a little like home to us. We also went for a nice roller blade on the W&OD trail. This is a 45 mile paved trail that practically in our backyard!
There is so much more to explore and we'll keep you posted on our big adventure!
Oh and yes, Jacque is feeling great at 11 weeks pregnant and going strong!
